Eight travellers together with two civil servants within the workforce of the Ondo State Authorities, have reportedly been kidnapped by suspected Fulani herdsmen. The victims have been kidnapped whereas travelling from Owo to Akure after a ceremony over the weekend.
The civil servants, Ayewunmi Ogunsemore of the Forestry Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Bunmi Falodun, a civil servant with the FADAMA programme, have been kidnapped across the dangerous portion of the Owo-Ose-Akoko street. Additionally kids whose dad and mom have been driving via the Ogbese and Ilu-Abo street on the Akure-Owo street, have been kidnapped.
Sahara Reporters studies Senior Lecturer on the Mass Communication Division of the Rufus Giwa Polytechic Owo (RUGIPO), Rahman Abubakri, who escaped being kidnapped by the gunmen, confirmed the incident. Abubakri disclosed that one other lecturer from Advertising Division of the polytechnic fell sufferer of the hoodlums who dragged him and the others into the thick forest.

Confirming the incident, the spokesman of the Ondo State Police Command, Femi Joseph,
