Founding father of well-liked resort, Whispering Palms in Badagry, Lagos State, Prof Ayodeji Femi-Pearce, has died on the age of 86 after a short sickness.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday condoled with Ibilola Femi-Pearce, the widow of the departed, his household, buddies and relations. The President urged them to take solace in the truth that the famend professor of drugs left his footprints on the sands of time, serving meritoriously on the Basic Hospital, Lagos, and Lagos College Hospital (LUTH), amongst others.
“Combining medical observe with lecturers, Prof Femi-Pearce was Appearing Vice Chancellor, College of Lagos, and later, Professional-Chancellor, Lagos State College (LASU), for 4 years.

Femi-Pearce was born on September 18, 1932, in Yaba, Lagos State. He attended CMS Grammar College, Lagos and proceeded to the College of Aberdeen Scotland to check drugs and later joined UNILAG School of Medication and LUTH as a workers.
He turned a professor in 1977 on the age of 45 and later provost, UNILAG School of Medication and chief medical director, LUTH. He was appointed as UNILAG performing vice-chancellor in 1980 and was chairman, LASU Governing Council between 2000 and 2004,
He was till his demise the chairman the well-known seaside Whispering Palms leisure resort which he based in 1991.
