A 32-year-old mom of six, Mngohol Iorwuese, has recounted how her husband and breadwinner of her household, Myaga Iorwuese, was ambushed and brutally killed by suspected herdsmen on his method to the farm on Monday December 24th.
Weeping profusely as she naratted her story to The Nation, Mrs Iorwuese mentioned her deceased husband left their residence in Anawah village in Gaambetiev Brand Native Authorities Space for his farm on that fateful day with a promise to return residence and supply cash to purchase issues to have a good time Christmas. She recalled that your entire village had come below heavy assaults from January 1st till August when the assaults abated and everybody returned to their farms.
“Since August, the killings slowed down and we went into severe farming. So on the Christmas eve, my husband went to the farm with confidence that he would harvest and return on time to organize for Christmas,” Mrs. Iorwuese mentioned.
On how she acquired the unhappy information of his demise, Mrs Iorwuese, mentioned whereas she was making ready meals for Christmas, a few of her members of the family, surrounded her, trying sorrowful. She turned anxious and requested them what had occurred, and one of many members of the family informed her that her husband had been shot lifeless in an ambush by suspected herdsmen.
